Pastor Courtney Wilks was born in Clarendon, Jamaica, and is the youngest of eight children born to Cecil and Myrtle Wilks. He credits his mother’s faithful prayers as the catalyst that ignited his call to ministry. Although he initially pursued other career opportunities in Jamaica and Bermuda, God’s leading became increasingly evident, confirming his calling to preach, teach, and lead others into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ through baptism.

Pastor Wilks earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Theology, with an emphasis in Pastoral Administration, from Northern Caribbean University, and an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems from Bermuda College. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry and board certification in chaplaincy. During his academic years, he was actively engaged in ministerial leadership, hospital ministry, and campus outreach, developing a strong foundation for a life of service and mission.

He currently serves as Senior Pastor of the Lebanon Seventh-day Adventist Church and as Assistant Director of Chaplaincy for the Northeastern Conference. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and community engagement.

Evangelism remains the heartbeat of Pastor Wilks’ ministry. Throughout his years of service, he has celebrated numerous baptisms, launched impactful community outreach initiatives, expanded his devotional ministry, and co-founded Be Blessed Ministries International. He is passionate about equipping believers for ministry and sharing the gospel with urgency, relevance, and compassion.

Pastor Wilks serves alongside his wife, Dr. Seanna-Kaye Denham Wilks, a clinical psychologist, healthcare executive, ordained elder, and minister of music. Together, they are dedicated to mentoring young people, strengthening families, and building Christ-centered communities. They are blessed with their son, Caleb, whose energy and joy enrich their lives and ministry.

Pastor Wilks’ life mission is to faithfully serve God and His people, proclaiming the everlasting hope found in a complete surrender to Jesus Christ. Through preaching, teaching, chaplaincy, and community service, he remains committed to leading others into a deeper relationship with God and preparing hearts for Christ’s soon return.
