Pastor's Biography

Pastor Earnest Flowers II, was born in Brundidge, Alabama to Earnest and Cora Flowers. He is the oldest of five children; two brothers and two sisters. His mother became a Seventh-day Adventist when he was three years old, and his pastor at the time was the late J.P. Willis of the Northeastern Conference in New York. His early education was throughout the north and southeastern parts of the U.S. This was largely due to the fact that his father was a career soldier. The family traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Pastor Flowers graduated from high school in Frankfurt, Germany. He joined the military and served as a front-line medic. After serving his tour in Vietnam, he was highly decorated for his courageous acts in saving the lives of many. Accepting the call of ministry, he attended Atlantic Union College in Massachusetts and graduated with a BA in Theology. He furthered his training at Andrews University where he obtained a Masters in Pastoral Ministry.

Pastor Flowers is a well seasoned minister with over 35 years of pastoral experience. Alongside in ministry is his wife, the former Yvonne Nelson from Jamaica, West Indies. God has blessed them with three sons, Earnest III, Richard and Christopher.

In October 2003, he assumed the role of shepherd over Lebanon and since then, the church has grown spiritually.

Word of Encouragement
Aldous Huxley, said, "Experience is not what happens to you; it is what you do with what happens to you." Always remember, if God brings you to it, He'll bring you through it. Therefore, trust in God, hold fast to His unchanging hand, and watch as he sustains and bless you, His child.
